Welcome to South Perth Centennial Public School

We are a rural school on a beautiful property outside of the town of St. Marys. Our K-8 school has 177 students and 15 staff. A visit to South Perth will show you a community of learners who work hard to demonstrate the attributes celebrated in our board and academic achievement that reflects dedicated effort on behalf of students and staff.

We have a focus on mathematics planned for our junior/intermediate division and reading in our primary division.  In addition, we have key instructional strategies that we are implementing in all of our classrooms. Our work on character education continues as we celebrate each of our attributes in announcements, school work and assemblies. We are proud of our integration of technology into our school and our community has supported us significantly with smartboards and laptops in almost all classrooms. South Perth is grateful for a supportive parent group and community that continue to run a very successful volunteer reading program, and plan many fun events such as movie nights and funfest.  We have a strong tradition of staff and parents working together to make our school the best that it can be.
